Get in Touch About Records

Furnas County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, release anyone, or obtain an official booking record for a visitor. Contact the agency that holds the record for an official answer.

Furnas County Sheriff and Jail

For a Furnas County Jail question or a written Nebraska public-records request, begin with the Furnas County Sheriff’s Office. No separate records-unit telephone, public roster, or online booking-photo request form was verified in the county research. Identify a written request as a Nebraska public-records request under Neb. Rev. Stat. § 84-712 and ask the office for the current custodian and delivery method.

The official sheriff page says the office is open 24 hours. General county-office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, except weekends and holidays. Those general hours do not limit emergency response. Call 911 for an emergency.

The official jail information page gives facility-access rules. Visitation is Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., excluding the 11 a.m. to noon lunch period, court days, and holidays; the facility closes down by 3 p.m. Professional visits are listed for 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with one hour’s notice. Special visits need 48 hours’ notice, weekday property service is 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and bond may be accepted at any time when immediate release is possible.

Where to Take a Record Question

Choose the office by the custody stage or record type. The county jail, a state prison, a federal institution, an immigration detention system, and a court case record are separate systems.

The Home page explains how these routes fit together. A booking entry reflects an accusation only, and a court disposition is the official place to check what happened after the charge.
